Badalona Bar in Bochum

A lot had changed since the change of management (?) Or the exchange of staff. In my eyes even before the 1st lockdown to the negative. The audience as well as the service and the whole atmosphere have changed from a slightly bohemian-intellectual to a more yuppie-wannabe. Since I met a former employee yesterday, however, I have been appalled by the practices that are said to have gone on in both the MaxFrituur and the Badalona Bar. All the lowest levels of dealing with staff, especially women. No wonder that 10 months ago people with brains were still working in the company who have now quit 100%. There were probably around 25 employees .... My solution: boycott!

Ate here on the last day before the lockdown in fine, late autumn weather. Varied, very tasty tapas and friendly service. We felt very comfortable.

Great service, good drinks, delicious food

So far they have had a very progressive attitude towards the outside, but now there are also climate-friendly patio heaters. It doesn't fit together and it's very disappointing. Beer and food are good.

The food and the cocktail are the best

Great waiters, good prices, good location. It couldn't be better in Bochum. I am happy to be there and can definitely recommend the shop. A welcome change away from the binge of drinking in Bermuda.

Small but fine bar with a delicious menu in the heart of Bochum. The cava is particularly recommended. If you are there with several people, it is worth ordering a whole bottle. 🙂

The restaurant is really very stylishly furnished. No cheap decoration, instead the colors were very much very good looking coordinated. The correctness of the staff is really impressive. Here it has never happened to us that a dish was not warm on the table. The selection of drinks leaves nothing to be desired, and I found the menu extremely appealing.

Prices on the notice card at the pub are significantly cheaper than on the card at the table. Staff informed us that the old, cheaper prices on the notice card are only an open offer. Nope, we went back then.

Nice atmosphere with delicious food

It totally blew us away. Good cost-performance ratio. The chairs are extremely comfortable and I find the distance between the tables extremely reasonable. There you don't get the feeling of dining like fish in a can, we are completely pleasantly surprised. We will definitely come back. Really fast and nice service. I think all the staff there did a very good job.

Best Tapas Bar in town

Great authentic Catalan and Spanish cuisine. Very attentive, friendly and above all experienced employees. Soon there will also be matching fine drinks from the bar team around Serkar Barzani. I would love to come back.

Always pleasant to drink a Leffe here. The food is good too. Whether in winter on the large glass facade or on the front of the benches always worth a visit.

Nice Bar with good tapas

Was not impressed with the Tinto de Verano or the Mojito. The olives were great but everything else couldn't compared to the cheapest cafe or bar in Madrid, Málaga or Tarifa. For the same price, you get better quality in drinks and Tapas food in UK. Much better places to go to in Bermuda3Eck area. On a European Scale, I would not even give one star.

Nice and comfy

Super delicious, many rare beer varieties.

It is a cozy bar. It has good selection of wines. In summer, sitting outside in corner of the Bermuda3eck is really enjoyable.

Cosy place with great tapas and drinks. The atmosphere is great in winter and summertime! Highly recommend for light eaters too

Simple no fuss tapas with good ingredients. Very enjoyable, and good fast service too even though it was busy.

My favourite combination: cheese and sepia tapas with a blond Leffe.
